Create a vertical 4:5 monochrome editorial collage poster. Inside a broad plain black outer margin place a narrower dark gray printed panel, centered with even side clearance. Show the upper torso of a person in a dark textured suit, white shirt and striped black tie, cropped by the lower edge of the panel. The shoulder line remains conventional, but replace the head and face with a deep impossible cavity formed from many nested irregular paper cutouts.
Each cutout follows the same elongated head silhouette, slightly asymmetrical, with a rounded crown and angular jaw. Successive shapes shrink toward a tiny dark center around the middle of the face. Alternate charcoal recesses with rough dusty silver cut edges, so the face reads as a receding tunnel. A pale cloudy halo separates the outer head from the dark panel. Coarse photocopy grain, torn fibers and speckled halftone cover the portrait consistently.
At the upper left of the panel set the small white sans serif title on three close lines: “the”, “closest”, “one”. Across the remaining top area arrange three slim columns of much smaller text with aligned tops. Use this original body text: “The familiar face becomes a space to enter. Each layer repeats its outline and changes its depth. What appears nearest may contain the greatest distance.” Keep all type secondary to the large cutout head. No color, glossy material, extra captions or interface.
