Clico works universally across all websites with text input. This includes popular platforms like Gmail, Notion, Google Docs, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Facebook, Reddit, Medium, and countless others. Whether you're composing emails, writing documentation, chatting with colleagues, or posting on social media, Clico is there to help. The extension automatically detects editable text fields and becomes available instantly.
Installation is quick and easy. Simply join our waitlist to receive an invitation link when Clico launches. Once you receive your invite, click the link to add Clico to Chrome, Edge, Brave, or any Chromium-based browser. The extension installs in seconds and works immediately with default settings. For advanced users, you can optionally configure custom AI models and API keys in the settings page (right-click the extension icon and select "Options").
Clico uses state-of-the-art AI models including Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, and OpenAI GPT models. By default, we use fast, efficient models optimized for instant responses. Advanced users can customize which models to use for AI Chat and Tab Completion in the settings. You can choose between speed-focused models for quick suggestions or more powerful models for complex writing tasks.
Your privacy is our top priority. Clico only accesses text in the specific field where you're actively typing. We never read, store, or transmit content from other parts of your browser or other tabs. When you request AI assistance, only the relevant text context is sent securely to AI providers for generation. We do not store your generated content or build user profiles. All data transmission is encrypted, and you can optionally use your own API keys for complete control over your data.
No API key is required. Clico works out-of-the-box with our default configuration. Everything is included and ready to use immediately after installation.

Yes, keyboard shortcuts are fully customizable. By default, ⌘+I (or Ctrl+I) opens the AI Chat dialog, and ⌘+O (or Ctrl+O) toggles Tab Completion on/off. You can change these shortcuts in the extension settings to match your workflow preferences. Simply right-click the Clico icon, select "Options," and click the pencil icon next to any shortcut to assign a new key combination.
